Please note:

These classes are open to all students (inside and outside of Circotica) 16yrs and older.

The Walkover and Acro workshops are perfect for all levels, ages, and abilities (beginners are most welcome!)

The Rope Workshop is suitable for aerialists who are new to rope, but have experience in silks or other aerials.

Get Your Walkover Workshop

Open to all levels who want to learn and master the walkover, a fundamental skill that
will help develop your strength, flexibility, and will set you on the path for learning
more advanced acro skills. Whether you are a beginner learning the basics or
advanced looking to perfect and add creative layers to your walkover technique, this
workshop is perfect for helping you achieve your walkover goals!

 

During This workshop, we will be looking at:

  • Understand the biomechanics of a walkover.

  • Learn step-by-step progressions for both front and back walkovers / kickovers

  • Improve strength, flexibility, and balance.

  • Develop confidence and overcome fears associated with walkovers.

  • Receive personalised feedback, spotting and corrections.

  • Looking at creative bridge pathways!

Creative Acro Movement Workshop

This Creative Acro Movement Research Workshop is designed for students who are
interested in exploring acrobatic movement fundamentals, providing an opportunity
to experiment with innovative movement patterns, develop new acro sequences, and
enhance your artistic and physical repertoire.

This is ground-based solo acro/soft tumbling/floor acrobatics.

During this workshop you can expect to:

  • Investigate the principles of creative movement and acrobatics.

  • Experiment with new movement combinations and transitions.

  • Develop a deeper understanding of body mechanics and spatial awareness.

  • Enhance improvisational skills and personal expression through acro

  • movement.

Rope Workshop

Join our Rope Workshop to expand and try some new skills with our guest trainer Katelyn Reed. Open to intermediate level students who are looking to develop more of their
aerial skills on rope! This workshop will cover a range of techniques and skills to help you
develop strength, flexibility, and dynamic movements on aerial rope!

 

During this workshop you can expect:

  • Fundamentals of beats

  • Roll downs / C Shaping 

  • Exploring different pathways travelling in and out of moves

  • Dynamic rope movements

  • Breaking down moves into step by step drills
