As we approach the end of 2025, we want to share an important update regarding Circotica Circus School Inc.
After much deliberation, we have made the difficult decision to wind down our society. This decision was not taken lightly, as we deeply understand the significance of this space and community to all of you. We have found ways to continue operating throughout many changes and challenges up until now.
Circotica was initially established as a temporary home for circus in ÅŒtautahi after the earthquakes left CircoArts without a building.
MOVE has evolved from the City Council’s post-quake ‘Share an Idea’ campaign, and their vision for movement and connection with circus, dance, acrobatics and more has finally got it's home in Parakiore Recreation and Sports Centre - opening this month!
We are grateful for the support and memories we’ve created together during our time at Circotica and we look forward to connecting with you in the other circus spaces across our city.
